Prayer for wisdom

Lord, give me wisdom that is humble, pure, peaceable, and obedient to Thy Word. Guard me from pride and haste. Teach me to acknowledge Thee in all my ways, and direct my paths according to Thy will. Amen.

Lord, open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law. Give me reverence for Thy Word, attention to the text, and a heart ready to obey. Let my study lead to worship, faith, and love. Amen.

Prayer for a quiet heart

Father, quiet my anxious thoughts and teach me to cast my care upon Thee. Help me to remember Thy nearness, Thy goodness, and Thy faithful care. Let the peace of God keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.
